Puerto Rico captain, Hector Soto: “I
think we tried to match the level of the game we had yesterday and we
did a good job. We lost concentration in the end of the first and
second set. We have to be 100% concentrated throughout the match to
win against a team like Poland."
Poland captain, Michal Bakiewicz: “We
are happy that we gained all six points in the matches against Puerto
Rico – this is what's most important right now. We realize that we
hadn't played as well as we wanted, we hadn't shown everything that
we were capable of. Now we have to focus at matches against Brazil
and the Finals”.
Puerto Rico coach, Carlos Cardona: “I am happy about the second set,
because I know we had a chance then. Unfortunately we lost
concentration."
Poland coach, Andrea Anastasi: “I
think the key to winning this match was the second set. We played
really good in the end of it, and after winning, we controlled the
situation.”
