Stoyche: Victory was of vital importance

Radostin Stoychev (middle) is satisfied with the victory
Bulgaria coach Radostin Stoychev: "We won a victory of vital importance. We need to win despite not being in the best shape possible. Team is suffering a lot of problems with injuries and we are looking for fast solution on that. Today even Kaziyski played with some problems which need him to rest. We oughta play with less mistakes than the opponents at least until we are ready to be at our most. We lack playing through the center and have to smoothen the defence. Good news is the boys are growing tactically."

Bulgaria captain Vladimir Nikolov: "I am glad that we won 3 points from this game. A lot of injuries trouble us and we are without some key players. Good for us is that we kept concentrated and after Japan's nice start we came back and won. Congratulations for Japan - they played till the last point, even surprised us with some tactical decisions. We are not ready yet and time is of essence to get prepared."

Japan coach Tatsuya Ueta: "There were 3 reasons to lose this match - we had poor serve, trouble in reception and not that many good attacks after badly received ball. These mistake we need to fix and play better tomorrow."

Japan captain Daisuke Usami: "We played nice in the first set. After that we lost our advantage and let Bulgaria win even though they did not gave us great arguments. They had neither good serve nor smooth reception. We will try our best tomorrow."
