I should praise my players: Korea coach

Korea coach Park Ki-Won comments on Saturday's match.

Korean coach Park Ki-Won: I should praise all of Korea‚Äôs players; they all did a really good job. I am very happy with our second victory in the 2011 World League. Our ultimate goal is to get a berth in the 2012 London Olympics. For this goal, we will practise harder than ever to upgrade our abilities and, in particular, show speedy volleyball.

Korean No. 5 Yeo Oh-Hyun: This year, young players are leading the team and we hope it lasts until the end of the 2011 World League season.

Korean No.12 Kim Jeong-Hwan: I am very happy about last weekend's win against Cuba and this weekend's against France. Also, the fact that I could do my job on the court makes me happy. At the beginning of the training session, our head coach ordered a speedy attack but I could not do it properly. It made me feel too much pressure, but all the coaching staff and my colleagues supported me to overcome it. I want to praise Jeon Kwang-In and Choi Hong-Suk for their brilliant performances.

Korean captain Kwon Young-Min: Today, our head coach ordered us to enjoy the match and not to feel under too much pressure. In the first set, the attack of Kim Jeong-Hwan was very good for our team's tempo and the blocking of Shin Yung-Suk in the critical moments of the third set countered the French team. We all are very happy for our second victory in the 2011 World League

French coach Philippe Blain: Today, our overall defence and service reception were really not satisfactory and, in addition, our attack did not have its normal rhythm. Anyway, we lost and will study today's match to try and come up with a better result tomorrow.

French captain Guillaume Samica: I would like to congratulate the Korean team on their victory, but we will study today's match and prepare to put on a better performance tomorrow.
