Weber: In my opinion Facundo Conte is the best young player in the world.

Argentina's Rodrigo Quiroga and coach Javier Weber
Bulgaria captain Vladimir Nikolov: “Argentina showed us a lesson how to play volleyball these days. Their play was very efficient, they made very few mistakes and they put a lot of pressure on us. Congratulations to them on qualifying for the semifinals.”

Argentina captain Rodrigo Quiroga: “I am so happy that we won, because we are in the semifinals now, it is very important for us. We played good in block and defense, but we also served very well. In the beginning Bulgaria pressed us with their service, but we received well. I am very happy. Tomorrow we will have another hard game and we will fight as well.”

Bulgaria coach Radostin Stoychev: “I want to congratulate the Argentinian team and their coach especially for showing us how we should play. Argentina had very good reception and side-out. We knew what to expect from them, but they managed to keep their extremely high spike efficiency, which is really rare in volleyball these days."

Argentina coach Javier Weber: “It was a very very important victory. We played fantastic throughout the match. We wanted to win every point after every spike and we maintained the high spike efficiency. Our side-out and reception was also very good. Last year we played we were poor, so we changed many players. Then we played very well in the World Championships in Italy. We are playing better, because my players have improved a lot. I believe in my players, and in my opinion Facundo Conte is the best young player in the world. They all have everything they need to be the best.”
