Cuba clinch second win over France

France's Antonin Rouzier topped the scores in his side's match against Ciba but it wasn't enough to stop his side going down in five sets
Toulouse, France, June 11, 2011 – Cuba sealed an emphatic 3-2 (23-25, 25-21, 22-25, 25-22, 15-9) win over France on Saturday in Toulouse as they got their 2011 FIVB Volleyball World League campaign back on track.

France got off to a good start despite being without captain Guillaume Samica as Samuele Tuia made the difference for the hosts as they coasted to an early lead.

France continued their dominance into the second set but despite the efforts of Anton Rouzier the side couldn’t hold back the Cuban attack.

Antonin Rouzier was the difference in the third as his side again took the lead, halting any offensive play the Cubans had.

However Wilfredo Leon stepped up in the fourth to take the match to a tiebreak before the Cuban captain helped carry his side to victory and keep alive their hopes of a Final Round spot.

France travel to Italy next week as Cuba face Korea as the 2011 FIVB Volleyball World League contines.
