Ancona, Italy, June 1, 2011 - After two convincing victories in France Italy is preparing for its first home match of the 2011 FIVB Volleyball World League against Cuba.
“Tomorrow it will be a match between two teams with a great tradition," Italy coach Mauro Berruto said. "It’s a big game. It is the first match we play at home in this FIVB World League, and we want to make a good impression. It will be a very important match for the growth of our team."
“We are happy to be here in Italy," Cuba coach Orlando Samuels added. "Ours is a young team who has changed a lot of players on which we place great emphasis."
