Rosario, Argentina, May 28, 2011 – The second day of
the Intercontinental Round of the FIVB World League will take place on May 29
when Argentina face Serbia again at the Newell’s Old Boys indoor stadium.
The host team, coached by Javier Weber, will have to
overcome its unforced errors and will have to come storming out with great
serving and spiking to have a chance. They will try not to play with the pressure
of being debutants and Rosario’s fans will have to urge them on again, as they
did in the first match.
Serbia will once again rely on its concentration and
power, but will have to work hard to stop Argentina, who, as the home team,
will be gunning for victory.
The match will close the weekend for Pool C as
Portugal-Finland will play earlier on Sunday at Povoa de Varzim Pavilhao Desportivo.
