Setter Kevin Hansen was born March 19, 1982 in Newport Beach, California. He joined the US National Team in 2005 and became one of the starting setters in 2006 along with Donald Suxho. After Lloy Ball re-joined the U.S. in 2007, Hansen served as his backup as the team won the 2008 FIVB World League and Olympic Games.

Hansen finished the 2010 season with 21 points (eight kills, two 11 blocks, two aces) in 64 sets (0.33 points per set). He was second on the team in digs behind libero Rich Lambourne with 94 (1.47 digs per set).
