  Kovacevic has already been described as a unique talent! He was born in 1993 and this season he will play in three national teams - youth, junior and senior, which tells us about the magnitude of the potential he possesses.

He comes from a volleyball family, his older brother Nikola has played for Serbia for many years, also in the receiving position. After the legendary Vladimir and Nikola Grbic, this can surely become a new dynasty of brothers in the “Blue Team”.

Uros Kovacevic made first volleyball steps in the City of Kraljevo, where he debuted for VC “Ribnica” at the age of 14. He played without fear against far more experienced and older colleagues, and at the age of 16 he made his debut with the senior team in the World League matches with China.

With the youth boys of Serbia he won the gold at the 2009 World Championship in Italy, and he repeated that success at the recently concluded 2011 European Championships in Turkey for the same category of players. He was also named the MVP, the Best Scorer and the Best Attacker of the tournament!. He played three matches in the World League last year.
