  Dokic began his career with VC “Crvena Zvezda” from Belgrade, not even dreaming that one day he would become the captain and best player. He stayed with the club for seven seasons, and managed to win the Serbian Championship and Cup.

Volleyball fans still talk about his extraordinary performance in the Playoff Final decider against VC "Radnicki“ from Kragujevac, when he played flawlessly and led his team to their seventh Championship title in history, during the 2007/08 season.

He made his debut for the national team in the 2007 World League match against Russia. Last season he played abroad, for VC “Bastia Umbra”, a member of the Italian Serie A2. He played 16 matches in the World League in four editions of the competition.
