  Nikolay Pavlov started his professional carrer for Ukranian club “Jurakademia” and then spent a season playing “Luch” (Moscow).

But he came into his own after moving to “Lokomotiv” (Novosibirsk), where he has a reputation of a team leader and the best scorer. Pavlov has previously played for the Ukraine youth team but after moving to Russia he never played for their senior team. This season is his debut for the Russian national team
