  Tuomas has played for Finland from 2001-2007, totalling 80 national team games.

His debut in the national team was ten years ago against Estonia.

"Tumppi" is a two-time Finnish champion (2002, 2006) and six time medalist. He ended up with bronze this season with Isku-Volley.
