Rodrigão already has eight World League titles to his name (2001, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2010), as well as one silver medal (2002), and one bronze medal (2000). He played in the team that won the World Cup (2003). In 2004, he won the gold medal at the Olympic Games, in Athens, and at the Olympic Games, in Beijing won silver. He was Youth and Junior South American champion, in 96. Last season he played for Italian club Macerata,. He has also won two FIVB Volleyball Mens' World Championships, in 2002 and 2006. In 2007, he won the World Cup, the Pan-American Games, and the South American Championship, in Chile, where he was elected as the best attacker. In 2008, Rodrigao recovered from a knee injury and finished second in the America’s Cup. The player also participated in Brazil’s win in the World Grand Champions Cup 2009 as well as in the World Championship 2010.
