It is a great moment for a young team as ours - Kolakovic

.

Serbia best scorer with 15 points Dragon Stankovic: We are very happy and we have to maintain this level if we want to defeat Brazil in the semifinal match.

Serbia coach Igor Kolakovic: We are very happy, it is a good moment for a young team as ours. We had 68 per cent effectiveness in spiking with only two mistakes.  With reference to not having Nikola Grbic and Ivan Miljkovic here, that is not important right now, I know we have to talk, but that will be in Belgrade.

Argentina captain Rodrigo Quiroga: I think it did not turn out to be the match I thought it would be. They played perfect and we could not shorten our mistakes and there was the clue of the difference between both teams. The 0-14 end result is very hard. The only way to change this bitter taste is to train hard during these next two months prior to the World Championship.

Argentina coach Javier Weber: It was a very difficult match coming from the spikes.  They took control of the first and second sets but early in the third one it was the even match we thought it would be.  Anyway it was clearly for us a bad match.  The players gave the best they could but we did not achieve what we expected.  This is a failure. It is too early to say how I will continue from now on, but I know I will choose those players that have a better mind and not the best output. Argentina has more but today we do not stand among the best six teams in the world. Argentina has its own style and it is not to have two middle players 2.10m tall, and therefore we have to give hundred per cent playing.

Mixed Zone:

Argentina joint-top scorer with 10 points Federico Pereyra:  We did not fulfill our goal to be among the best four teams.  Now we have to put our minds on the World Championship.
