Olympic Champions show their true face again
The points of today were something that was much wanted and expected by the spectators of Belgrade. With a fall in the form in the third set, National Team of Serbia and Montenegro succeeded in showing their true skills on the court.
Ace after ace, rally after rally, the teams of Cuba and Serbia and Montenegro fought for every ball in their effort to outplay the other.
It is truly the experience that brought back the true face of the Olympic Champion to win this spectacular match.

Poland Overpowered Japan In Straight Sets
The Polish team notched its fourth victory in 2004 World League by beating the Pool B outsiders. The Japanese side was serving for the set twice in the opening part but Poland survived and used its third setball to come to an end. The home team found no major troubles in the second set, making an ideal use of its powerful services and killing blockings. The Asians hit back in the third part forcing Poland to chase with the points. The White-And-Reds came from behind after the second technical time-out and stayed successful until the final whistle.

Strong Italy encountered a surprisingly strong challenge from China at first, but came from behind to tame the Chinese 3-1 Friday in the World Man's volleyball League. Shanghai, China.
The Chinese took the upper hand 5-4, and the Chinese widened their lead to 8-6 before a time out. The Chinese kept their success with the score of 20-11. With the heavy smash of Shen qiong, the high scorer in Chinese Team, China took the first set 25-12.

Bulgaria much stronger than France tonight
Despite a cheerful audience to encourage their team tonight, the French hardly found solutions to block their Bulgarian opponents, who proved to be more accurate thus efficient during the three sets.
Failed services and blocks on the French side allowed Bulgaria to lead the match, which did not last more than 90 minutes.

Poland overwhelmed Japan again in the hot Spodek sports hall
Polish eagles entered the court of the crowded again SPODEK sports hall with confidence and unquestionable will to strive for the fifth victory in the 2004 WL edition. The cheer of the 10.000 spectators added just additional wind under their wings and the young Japanese players, despite their commitment and determination in the second part, did not manage to turn around the match (3:0/ 25-13; 30-28; 25-21).
