ONE MORE VICTORY TO BRAZIL: 3-0 AGAINST PORTUGAL
Brazil took 76 minutes to beat Portugal by 3-0 (25/17, 25/16 and 25/20) this Sunday in the Guanandizao Gym (Campo Grande). This was the sixth Brazilian victory in the competition and the team remains in first place of Group A. Mr. Bernardo Rezende, Brazilian head coach, changed the starting team a lot from the first match. Only Sergio (libero) and Rodrigao (middle-blocker) took part of the first victory on Saturday. Anderson (universal), André Heller (middle-blocker), Murilo (wing-spiker), Roberto Minuzzi (wing-spiker) and Marcelinho (setter) came in great shape. The biggest difference between both teams today was the Brazilian serve (8 points) and block (8 points). On the other hand, Portuguese players did not take advantage of the chances they created during the match. Although Portugal improved in the third set and fought harder, it was too late. Brazil closed the match: 3-0
