Italy brush away China's challenge
Even though helped by quite a lot of spectators, China failed to win the match, and Italy beats China 3-0 (28-26, 25-15, 25-15) in about one hour Saturday, winning its second away game in Shanghai.

In the opening set, Italians took advantage of their block organization to maintain a comfortable lead. But young and motivated to win, the local team tied the score 6-6 and leaded into the first technical timeout. Then the two teams fought evenly and the score remained even 26-26. Finally, the visiting team went to win 28-26.

The situation was quite familiar with the beginning of the first set started with a 5-0 score leaded by the visiting team. Because of the failed actions of the local team and the strong attack of the visiting team, Chinese could not catch the score and the visiting team prevailed to win the set at 25-15.

After a seesaw battle from 6-6 at the beginning of the third set, the visiting team dominated the set dependent on the excellent individual defense and attack. The strong spikes and the determinedness to win of Italians, made it hard for the local team to find the right defense as they caught each ball. Chinese reacted too late and could not help a 25-15 score.
