France beat Japan 3-0 (25-19, 25-18, 25-18) - duration 1:11
12-Jun, start time: 21:07, end time: 22:18 - Attendance: 2'580
City: Paris; Hall : Bercy
French coach Philippe Blain : "This match was an opportunity to let young players play. I'm quite satisfy with my players behaviour. It was very important to win 3-0 tonight."

French Captain Dominique Daquin: "even if they play with young players, it is always a good team. They have potential and they need to work it out. Personally it was difficult to enter the competition. We just need to stay in shape because next week it's going to be a hard game against Bulgaria."

Japanese captain Shinoda Ayumu: " France was very confident on receptions. We did not manage to disturb their defense line.

Japanese coach Utea Tatsuya: "Many young players (average age 19-20) was in tonight and we need to train and more experience. We still played better than last night."
