Russia captain Maria Borisenko: It was a good game, an easy match for us. Our next match against hosts Thailand is likely to be a tougher task.

Peru coach Luca Cristofani: We played far below our standard. However, I just wanted my young players to obtain more experience from this tournament. That's why I'm happy with the result although we lost to Russia. 

Russia coach Vladimir Kuzyutkin: Russia and Peru were in different classes. We are at a higher level, while Peru are just new, young players. It will likely be a more challenging match for us against hosts Thailand next. We will study their game against Cuba and prepare a plan to play them. We have been training altogether for a long time and I think we have a better chance of winning the match.
