It’s a tough mission in Macau, but we will try our best there: Brazil head coach

Coaches and captains at the press conference in Bangkok

Thailand captain Wilavan Apinyapong: "Congratulations on Brazil’s win. We tried hard in this match, but Brazil are very strong. However, we still keep hopes on making the cut for the final round alive. I wish our dream came true (to play in the final round in Macau)."

Brazil captain Fabiana Claudino: "We played well with good serves. We played according to the coach’s plan. Now, I just think about the finals in Macao. We trained hard during the past two months and it deserved we reached the final round. I hope my team will do well there."

Thailand coach Kiattipong Radchatagriengkai: "Congratulations on Brazil’s win. They played very well with exceptional tactics and techniques. We worked hard in this match, but it was very difficult to score points from them. However, it’s great when we learned that we are playing the world’s best team. They are world No.1 and the Olympic champions. We already tried our best here."

Brazil coach Jose Roberto Lages Guimaraes: "I appreciate the Thailand head coach’s words. We did a good job with good serves. We played well in every skill. I would like to give Thailand a thumb-up for staging this year’s World Grand Prix as a memorable success. This is my first time in Thailand and I have a good time here. Thailand also played well. Although they lost to us, I think they are a strong team. In the final round in Macao, it’s not easy for us. Teams will be divided to play in two groups. It’s a tough mission there in Macao, but we will try our best."
