This win is a sweet revenge for our loss last week: Cuba head coach

Cuba head coach Juan Gala Rodriguez says the win is a sweet revenge for their loss to Argentina in the second week.

Argentina captain Emilce Sosa: This is our best performance in the World Grand Prix despite the fact that it was not a happy ending. We intended to make it much better than this, but we had problems on travelling from country to country. Our health problem on jetlag also affected our performance. Our practice was not good enough as many players in my team suffered from food infection.

Cuba captain Yusidey Silie Frometa: I’m glad that we won the match. It was a good match. Argentina played well and we learned a lot of things from this match. We will bring this experience to improve our tactics when we return to our home. We also would like to come back to Thailand again.

Argentina head coach Horacio Bastit: Congratulations on Cuba’s win. We played each other before in Poland last week and both sides then studied their games from tapes for this rematch. Cuba is much stronger than us. Their attacks are very heavy. We were well-prepared, but still no enough to beat them this time.

Cuba head coach Juan Gala Rodriguez: It will always turn out to be a tough match whenever we played Argentina. Argentina used exceptional tactics. Their management in the team is very impressive. We lost to Argentina last week and this win was a sweet revenge for the loss. Argentina will become one of the strong teams to be reckoned with in the near future.
