Horacio Bastit: "Our goal is to improve”

Argentina coach Horacio Bastit said that his team will not have too much time to celebrate Sunday's victory

Dominican Republic captain, Milagros Cabral de la Cruz: “Congratulations to Argentina. They played very good. Our team is not yet playing as good as we can. We have to work hard to get better in the next pools.”

Dominican Republic coach, Marcos Kwiek: “We are sad because we lost. Regarding today’s match, we can be thankful that we won one point, because we didn’t play well. We had many opportunities in attack, but we didn’t use it. Usually we score with 50-percent efficiency, today it was much lower. Now we go to Japan to play in more difficult group. We have to continue working.”

Argentina captain, Emilce Sosa: "We knew that Dominican Republic is a strong team and has good players. We had to give all we have and we did it. I’m really happy.”

Argentina coach, Horacio Bastit: "We are very happy, but regardless the final score, we could have won the match 3-1. We feel, that our play is better than it was on Friday, when we begun this tournament. Our goal in the Grand Prix is to improve our level. And I hope we will do it.”
