We were unlucky today: Poland coach

Marcos Kwiek and Milagros Cabral of Dominican Republic
Poland captain Milena Radecka: “Congratulations to the Dominican Republic team. It was an important game for us. We are angry that we have made lots of mistakes in important moments and lost this match today. We will now concentrate on the next match.”

Poland coach Swiderek Alojzy: “We were very unlucky today. It is the second time that we lost to Dominican Republic. We are unhappy because we did not keep up our standard. Concerning the coming match against China tomorrow night, our team is more organized than last year. However, as we have quite a lot of new players, the result is difficult to predict.”

Dominican Republic captain Milagros Cabral: “We are happy to win this match. We hope our performance in the forthcoming match will be as good as today.”

Dominican Republic coach Marcos Kwiek: “It is always difficult to win matches against Poland. As we were a bit loose in the first set, we lost it. Our team became more focused in the later sets and we won the match. We are happy to win this match and gain marks. We hope Poland can continue to win and be qualified for the Grand Final in Macau. We will try our best to keep our standard.”
