Korea captain Sook-Ja Lee: “This was our fifth game in the Grand Prix and it was the most difficult one, because we played: one – against Poland, and two – against Polish spectators, who showed how much they love volleyball. Because of that, we were nervous and made more mistakes than usually, especially in service.”

Poland head coach Alojzy Swiderek: “I want to congratulate Korea on this victory. For us it is the first match lost 0-3. It hurts, but I am sure that tomorrow we will come to the court for the match with Cuba and we will play as well as I know we can. Today Korea won with great technical spikes we couldn't block and the amazing Yeon-Koung Kim, who is the best scorer of the tournament. This loss happened to us, but I don't think it was a bad game. We made more mistakes and this is what we have to work on along with gradually building the team and its experience.”
