Envigado, Colombia, 31 March, 2010 – Brazil continued their preparations for the FIVB World Grand Prix by marching to victory in the South American Games Volleyball tournament, beating Argentina 3-0 (25-22, 25-17, 25-15) in the final match in Envigado, Colombia on Monday.
Patricia Bianchi topped the match score sheet with 13 points as her side finished the competition unbeaten with four victories without dropping a set.

“Joining this group impressed me,†Patricia said after the match. “We did not know each other, and in each game we had to overcome the obstacles we faced.â€
Peru won the bronze medal beating hosts Colombia 3-0 (25-17, 28-26, 25-22).
