Brazil captain Fabina Claudino: I want to congratulate my team for the victory and also the Polish team for a hard-fought match. I don't know exactly what happened to Marianne Steinbrecher (who was injured in the third set). She is important to our team. I hope all the best with her.

Brazil coach Jose Roberto Guimaraes: Today we played a lot better than yesterday. Poland had some really good hitters and setters. We hope to keep the momentum up.
