Due to the shock defeat to the USA, Barbolini worries if his side can make the cut for the Finals

Italian coach Massimo Barbolini, left, is worrying about his team's chance to the Finals after they lost to the USA 1-3 on Friday.

Italy captain Eleonora Lo Bianco - "Congratulations to the USA. They played very well. Their blocking and defence are excellent. We played badly on services. I think we have many things to improve on for our next matches."

Italy coach Massimo Barbolini - "It's a good match. I totally agreed with what my captain had said. The USA excelled on blocking and defence. We tried to play well little by little. I think we have to play with more rhythms. However, this is the very first match against strong teams in the second week. I admit that I'm worrying about our chance to make top six for the Finals in Ningbo, China. We have to win the remaining two matches."

USA captain Jennifer Tamas -"It's a tough match and we have to play hard against them. We did a good job in defence and blocking."

USA coach Hugh McCutcheon - "I'm happy to win the match. We could congtrol the game. Logan Tom is very helpful for the win. I wish our team could make it to the Final six teams. Now, we have to focus on the next match against hosts Thailand."
