Russia coach knew Korea was strong

Press Conference

RUSSIA

Head Coach Vladimir Kuzyutkin: As I said in the press conference yesterday, Korea is a very good team and they proved that today. I know what our weak points are very well but I am not going to say them here; please just guess for yourselves.
(On the difference from last week, when Russia beat Korea 3-0): Usually we start slowly and improve gradually as the Grand Prix goes on, but last week this was not the case and we started very well. Usually the first game of any round does not go too well.

Captain Marina Sheshenina: Korea fought very hard and it was a very tough game.

Ksenia Naumova: The Koreans' reception was very good and gave us a hard time. I played well because the team helped me and the coach trusted me.

 KOREA

Head Coach Lee Sung-Hee: It was a close match and we fought very well, but we are still young and a new team and needed more experience. As a team we have not been together long enough, so our serve and reception were not good enough, but I believe this will be solved and we will imporve.

Captain Kim Se-Young: I am very sorry we could not win on points that were decided by height, but in other aspects of the game we played very well.
