Thailand is getting more and more experience

Head coaches and captains at the press conference after amazing tie-break

- It was very difficult game for us but we are very lucky that we won it – says Thailand Head Coach Kiattipong Radchatagriengkai.

Japan captain Erika Araki: „I am very disappointed about this defeat. I only hope that tomorrow we will improve our play and win the game.”

Thailand captain Wilavan Apinyapong: „We are very happy with this victory. It was a very long and difficult game for us, full of the rallies and digs from both sides. I would like to thank Polish fans who helped us a lot giving the fantastic support.”

Japan Head Coach Masayoshi Manabe: „Today Thailand played great in defense. On the other hand my team committed a lot of unforced error, especially in attack. That was the main reason of our defeat.”

Thailand Head Coach Kiattipong Radchatagriengkai: „First of all, I would like to thank Japanese team for the lesson they gave us tonight. It was a great opportunity for my very young players who learned a lot in defense, in reception and in counter-attacks. It’s not so easy to win the game against such a good team. We are very lucky that we won. I would like to thank Polish fans who gave us the warm support. As for our situation before Sunday game for the first place, we have never won the whole WGP tournament but the Netherlands is a very strong and high rival. We will do our best and will try to get more experience from tomorrow’s game. ”
