Brazil managed to complete a come-from behind victory against Korea.

KOR No.9 LA and No.14 try to block BRA No.7 Mari

In the first set, Brazil, most powerful team in the world, fought hard under the sprit of Korea. Korea was in the lead based on strong organization ability and a fighting spirit. After playing seesaw game, Korea won the first set on a combined blocking by Korean young players.

 

In the second and third sets, Brazil who was embarrassed in the first set due to the strong struggle of Korea recovered their pace and showed powerful and speedy attacks and blockings.

 

In the fourth set, Korea did do or die. Korea got the close match during the middle of set but Korea only stop taking 19 points. Brazil won the 2009 Women’s World Grand Prix in Mokpo with 3 consecutive wining games. Contrastively, Korea was a tail-ender with 3 consecutive losing games.
