Poland has shown great ambition

After fighting 5 sets in the yesterday match, the stamina of Poland players was obviously decreased. Poland made several mistakes in the beginning and this gave a chance to Brazil to head 5 points after the first technical timeout (11:6).

However, the Brazil players did not grasp this opportunity and let Poland to catch up to only 1 points in the behind (13:12). Afterward, both teams played point by point and Brazil had only one point advantage left in the second technical timeout (16:15). With aggressive spikes from #13 Sheilla, Brazil soon regained their form and widened the distance to 20:15 and end this set with 25:22.

In the beginning of the second set, the Poland Team made some mistakes in the starting players and let Brazil to get a 6-point advantage (6:0). But the Poland players did not affect by this problem. Their aggressive spikes help them catch up with Brazil to 3 points distance in the first technical timeout (8:5). However, Brazil regained their rhythm and the 3-people blocking made Poland did not get any advantages. Soon Brazil widened the distance to 11 points after the second technical timeout (18:7) and ended this set without too much pressure (25:9).

After losing two sets, Poland showed their great ambition to fight back. With two ace serves they gained four points in a row (4:0) and soon headed 6 points in the first technical timeout (8:2). The solid defense of Poland and aggressive spikes from #3 Wozniakowska help them to grasp points in a row and soon widened to a great distance of 13 points (18:5). Even the Brazil players tried hard to shorten the distance, Poland still won this set with 25:13.

In the forth set, Poland cannot continue their great performance in the last set and let Brazil to head 4 points in the first technical timeout (8:4) and 3 points in the second technical timeout (16:13). Afterward, Brazil played more confidently and soon widened the distance to 22:14. Finally Brazil finished today’s game with 3:1 (25:15), getting two successive winnings in Macau.
