08-Jul, start time: 18:00, end time: 19:24 - Attendance: 4'100
City: Hong Kong; Hall : Hong Kong Coliseum
Germany head coach (Lee Hee Wan)- First, congratulations to Italy. Players in our team did not play very well today. At the same time, we did not have substitution players for the spikers. Players #13 Atilka Bouagaa and #15 Angelina Gruen were injured and they are staying in Germany now. I hope we can do better in the next two days.

Germany Team Captain (#8 Cornelia Dumler)- I think we did not play as well as we can. Italy was so strong and we could not manage to win even a set. Also, our attacks were not so well.

Italy head coach (Marco Bonitta)- I am very happy to win the match today. The German team is always strong. I cannot tell anything about our performance in the match against China this Sunday.
Our team was so young and it's important to stay at the stable level and I hope we will still play a good level till the end of the touranment.

Italy Team Captain (#15 Antoella Del Core)- We were so determined to win the game.
