Press conference

China beat U.S.A. 3-0 (25-22, 25-15, 25-15) - duration 1:08
26-Jun, start time: 19:35, end time: 20:43 - Attendance: 8'000
City: Ningbo; Hall : Ningbo Beilun Gym
Feng Kun (China): Generally speaking, we played to our standard. We used some new players in this match, but the young players and the old players still lack chemistry.

The United States played very good fast attack in the first set and made it difficult for us. In the last two sets, we improved our serving and played better attack.

China head coach Chen Zhonghe: We played to our standard today. In the first set, we started a little bit slowly. We had trouble in our defense, so we just counted on our attack.

The American players are very young, but they did very well in defense today. Before the second set, I told our players to learn from them. In second and third sets, our defense was better.

Lindsey Berg (United States): We wanted to win, but we also wanted to play our best. I think we played to our best standard at this point in the first set, but our passing broke down in the last two sets and the lack of experience became our disadvantage.

We took this tournament as a learning experience and we just tried to get better in every match.

U.S. head coach Lang Ping: We played better than I expected, China is a very strong team.

It's hard for our players to defend the Chinese team, because they played very quick and various attack. I am happy that our players had some good play in defense.
