World Grand Prix 2005 - Press Conference

Press conference

China beat Thailand 3-0 (25-20, 25-15, 25-18) - duration 1:12
24-Jun, start time: 19:35, end time: 20:47 - Attendance: 7'766
City: Ningbo; Hall : Ningbo Beilun Gym
Feng Kun (China): We attached great importantance to this match, because it's our first match at the Grand Prix. I think we showed our advantage in attack today, but we also made many mistakes. We still lack chemistry among the players.

Sangmuang Patcharee (Thailand): We tried our best, but we can't control the ball. China's attack was quick and strong, we found it hard to defend. Hopefully we will play better in the next match.

China head coach Chen Zhonghe: We had advantage in attack, blocking and serving, but I think we were not in our top shape today. We made mistakes, we had ups and downs, and the old players and the young players have yet to find chemistry.

Thailand head coach Chanbunchee Sutichai: I am quite satisfied with our players' performance, because we were facing one of the best teams in the world. We made a lot of mistakes, especially in the first two sets.

We will take this match as a lesson and try to play better tomorrow.
