Match 46 turned fabulous. Poland fought very hard. But because of Chinese strong and fine defense, Team China dominated the very match, outplaying Poland 3-1.
In the first set, China gained 3 points first by strong blocking and dink spike. Later, Poland got the first point due to China's serving error. China let 6 points ahead 15-9 before the second technical timeout. China won the set comfortably with excellent team cohesion and tough defense and attack 25- 19.
China played true to form in the second set. Poland fought back very courageously and tied the score 8 times, the last at 13-all. With 5 points behind China 15-20, Poland asked for the second timeout. China behind No. 15 Wang Lina and No. 3 Yang Hao organized fast attacks, leaving Poland no enough time to react. The set ended 25-18 in favor of China.
Poland never lost confidence and opened the third set at 2-0. Then Poland, behind the setter No. 5 Sliwa Magdalena and attacker No. 16 Przybysz Aleksandra continued to lead the set to the end, wrapped it up at 25-23.
In the fourth set, Poland played well. Though, with advantage on net and vigorous attacks, China managed to clinch the set with 25-15.
The atmosphere reached the highest since the WGP (Hefei) started and applauds roared to the roof.
