Press release

All of my players made their contribution to this win - coach Muraco

Ankara, Turkey, September 1, 2013 – As Argentina defeated India by 3-2 (22-25, 23-25, 26-24, 25-19, 15-7) in the classification match for the seventh place at the FIVB Volleyball Men's U21 World Championship in Ankara, their coach and captain stressed on the importance of having substitute player who can turn matches around.  These are the post-game statements of the two teams’ coaches and captains.

T.C. Jothish, coach of India: “It was a difficult match. In the start of the match we were, better but after the second set we lost our luck. We have become eighth in the championship and it is still a good result.”

Lavmeet Katariya, captain of India: “We had bad luck today. We have made all types of possible mistakes. Our play was not good today and our temper was not good either.”

Fabian Muraco, coach of Argentina: “We did not start the match well and India went up by 2-0. Some of my players were very tired physically and mentally. I replaced them and we started to play better. This is a team game. I am so happy that all of my players made their contribution to this win.”

Fernando Arpajou, captain of Argentina: “I want to say that I am so happy in the name of my friends who entered the match as substitutions and were very successful. We managed a great turnaround as a team. We are happy for winning this match.”
