Turkey captain Damla Cakiroglu: This match against Egypt was easier for us after the last two games

Brno, Czech Republic, June 24, 2013 – Turkey beat Egypt 3-0 to get the leadership of Pool D

Turkey coach Gökhan Edman: We wanted to play this game with all twelve players. It’s good for us because we need substitutions all the time. I like to substitute players. We played the high level game today and we’re happy for the game. Now we’ll prepare for next rounds.

Turkey captain Damla Cakiroglu: This match was easier for us after the last two games. I’d like to congratulate to the Egyptian team. I think we played well but we have to prepare ourselves for next games.

Egypt coach Hesham Badrawy: Yesterday we played a very good match against Italy. Italian team is maybe on the same level as Turkish team. Because we had three matches in a row, it was tonight very difficult for us. Especially our reception wasn’t very good. Our bad reception was then the main reason for all the other game skills, which were also not very good. Tomorrow we have a free day, so we’re going to focus on the match on Wednesday.

Egypt captain Farida El Askalany: First of all, Turkey is very good team. We played three matches in a row and we didn’t prepare ourselves before this match very good. So we didn’t play as good as we can. Especially the Turkish service had a top quality tonight.
