Cuádruple empate después de dos días de la Copa Latina


Alejandra Isiordia de México ha anotado 55 puntos en sus dos partidos de la Copa Latina

Lima, Perú, 11 de mayo de 2013 - Mexico y Colombia se llevaron victorias sobre Perú y República Dominicana en el segundo día de acción en la V Copa Latina de voleibol junior femenino el viernes.

Los cuatro equipos clasificados para el Campeonato Mundial Juvenil Sub-20 Femenino FIVB en la República Checa, tienen record de ganados y perdidos de 1-1.

Alejandra Isiordia de México anotó 27 para liderar a un triunfo 3-1 (20-25, 25-15, 25-21, 25-23) sobre Perú. Angela Leyva y Milagros Rodríguez registraron 20 puntos para las locales.

En el otro partido, Colombia ganó 25-11, 24-26, 25-19, 25-22 sobre República Dominicana. Margarita Martínez anotó 18 puntos para las ganadoras y Pamela Soriano terminó con 15 para el equipo derrotado.

En los partidos del sábado, Colombia se mide con México y la República Dominicana juega contra Perú a terminando la ronda preliminar.

"Continuamos con nuestra preparación hacia el campeonato mundial en el que esperamos estar entre los mejores equipos", dijo la mexicana Isiordia.

Isiordia, la jugadora más valiosa en la Copa Panamericana Sub-20 celebrada en La Habana, Cuba en marzo pasado, tiene 55 puntos en los dos partidos jugados hasta ahora.
