Egipto obtiene su quinto título consecutivo en el Campeonato Juvenil Femenino Africano


Los tres equipos - Egipto, Nigeria y Argelia - clasificado para el Campeonato Mundial Juvenil Femenino FIVB a celebrarse en la República Checa en junio.

Abuja, Nigeria, 15 de marzo de 2013 - Egipto conquistó su quinto Campeonato Juvenil Africano femenino consecutivo,  este viernes tras ganar en sets corridos-(25 - 21, 25-22, 25-11) sobre Argelia en el tercer y último día de competencia.

Egipto también se llevó el título en 2004, 2006, 2008 y 2010.

La final vio a las egipcias, más experimentadas, dominar en el ataque, combinados con una defensa sólida.

Egipto terminó invicto ganando dos partidos, después de haber derrotado a Nigeria antes de su victoria Argelia.

Argelia ocupó el segundo lugar (1-1) y Nigeria tercero (0-2), sin embargo los tres equipos aseguraron puntos para el Campeonato Mundial Juvenil Femenino a celebrarse en la República Checa en junio.
