Chile beat Turkey for the second time

Dusan Bonacic totalized 21 points to remain as tournament's scoring leader.

Mexicali, Mexico Chile beat Turkey for the second time at FIVB Boys' U19 World Championship 3-1 (32-30, 25-22, 14-25, 25-14) at Mexicali State Auditorium and will match Mexico on Sunday.

Disan Bonacic had another solid performance for his team by totalizing 21 points and reached a total of 143 during the tournament to remain as scoring leader of the competition.

Simon Guerra and Christopher Baeza registered 14 apiece for the South American squad while Turkey's Cansin Ogbai Enaboifo finished with 20 points and Yasin Aydin  with 17.

Melih Siratca scored 14 and Captain Yigit Gulmezoglu 12 in a match that lasted 1 hoer and 40 minutes.  Both teams showed a very well balanced block, and Turkey dominated in the serve with 8 collective aces (the half of them by Enaboifo and Gulmezoglu) while Chile only aced three times. 

However the Chilean team recovered to achieve an 11 points advantage that became decisive in the end.

Turkey will match host team, Mexico for the 13th place, and Turkey will play against USA for 15th place on Sunday.
