History repeats on Tunisian side

Algeria recovered in the third set, but Tunisia served very effectively.

 Mexicali, Mexico, July 5 2013 - Tunisia earned their first victory at FIVB Boys' U19 World Championship against African rival, Algeria on Friday.

Both teams had faced each other at the African Championship. History finished once again in favor of the team coached by Lotfi Ben Slimane.

Lotfi Ben Slimane, coach of Tunisia: "Algeria is a great team with very good quality players, very respectable. We were afraid in the third set after they recovered. Their captain is a very good player They have achieved their first victory, and now we did it in a very well played match."

Sidi Mohammed Ghomari, coach of Algeria: "Congratulations to Tunisia for the victory. it was a good match. We were more aggressive in the third set, but They served very well and we lost stabilization in our reception."

Wael Mrika, captain of Tunisia: "We have played against them before at the African Championship and we won. That really helped us psychologically to win this match."

Salem Walid Ait, captain of Algeria: "Congratulations to Tunisia. We tried to get back in the third set but it was hard for us to recover so quickly after our last match the night before."
