Scouting work will be important for next round: Mozafari


Details of the press conference after the match.

Mexicali, Mexico, July 3 2013 - Despite a two hour trip from Tijuana and a short training session, Iran could advance to the next round after a win over Egypt.

However coach Iraj Mozafari remarked that an exhaustive scouting of their next rival will be important to keep aspiration. 

On the other side, coach Ellakany Mohamed stated that he felt so proud of his team and the way his players fought in third and fourth sets, despite being limited by some injuries. 

Iraj Mozafari, coach of Iran: "Thanks god we won this match. It was difficult because of weather conditions and we didn't have enough time to train and adapt, Now we will have our scouts on both venues to analyze teams for next rounds".

Ellakany Mohamed, coach of Egypt: "I feel so proud. We recovered and play very well on the third set. One of my setters suffered an injury and unfortunately we were limited."

Manavinezhad Mohammadjavad, captain of Iran: "The third set was not easy for us. But thanks God, helped us to win against Egypt. We both are Muslim countries. We both are brothers".

Ahmed Saleh, captain of Egypt: "It was so hard and We didn't play very well. We tried to go back after winning the third, but Iran had a good game. Congratulations."
