Mexicali, Mexico, June 28 2013 – The service strategy of Brazil against the United States was the best weapon in South American team’s first match at the FIVB Boys’ U19 World Championship

American coach, Colin McMillan said that also the blocking game of his rival was not an easy thing to solve. Team USA has been considered the toughest rival for anyone at this tournament. However, Brazilian coach Percy Oncken that the key is to be focused one match at a time.
 
Colin McMillan, coach of United States: “Brazil’s blocking was very effective and their service kept us out of balance. When you face a rival like this you have to keep playing on a high level.”

Percy Oncken, coach of Brazil: “We played as well as we expected. This was the first match and it is difficult when you start, but have to be focused in one at a time. Congratulations to the USA, it is a team that has good players for the future.”

Christian Blough, captain of United States: “Brazilian service put us under pressure, but I hope we can play better and go on in our next match.”

Fabio Rodrigues, captain of Brazil: “We served very well and also played with a very good spike, it was also natural sensation to feel nervous, because this was our first match of the championship.”
