Dong Rui Jun , China Coach
“Despite the difference in sizes of player, Thai players played very well. Our trick is to perform as same as when we are in training sessions. We used our heights quiet well today.”
Sun Haiping, China Captain
“Today we performed our best and we were exhausted after playing with Thailand. The victory we snatched today has motivated us to do better and better in every matches we compete. No matter how tough the games are, we will play our best in order to achieve our goals”
Apichat Kongsawat, Thailand Coach
“We had a big disadvantage in sizes of players as Chinese players are taller than ours. Also, we have had problems with our serving and attacking. Although we served better this game, but that wasn’t good enough. We still have to do better than this in the next match. And our spikes were blocked many times. The ball was dropped in our side, so that made we lost the points. We have to solve these problems immediately; otherwise we could get beaten so easily. In the next match, we will study the strategy and technique of our opponent to know how to deal with them effectively and we will perform as well as we can.”
Pacharaporn Sittisad , Thailand Captain
“We did our best. We tried to play as hard as we could but we had a problem in returning serves and China‘s blocking worked efficiently today, so that made the game tough for us. China was too strong today, they deserved to win and go to the next round. Lastly, thanks to all Thai fans that came to support us today. Your support has been incredible.”
