The team was built in 2005 and its first goal was to put
in a successful performance at the 2007 Youth Girls European Championship in
Brno.
Head coach Ales Novak trained the team well and had many
successes in preparation, but the girls had a disappointing time at the
championship and new staff, including coach Rostislav Voralek, was brought in.
The team took part in the 2008 Junior European
Championship qualification tournament and successfully qualified for the Final
Round in Italy, where they finished in 10th place.
In the 2008/2009 season, the team took part in the
Women's Senior 1st division in the Czech Republic. At that time the team was
headed by head coach Tana Krempaska, who was also coach of the Senior Women's
National Team. The junior team was very successful playing against the senior
women's teams and won a few very important matches.
The team finished in second place during qualification
for the World Championship.
