"We’ve got no ideal opponent for the semi-final, Molico and Kazan are both good," says SESI-SP coach

Zurich. Switzerland, May 9, 2014-
Sesi-SP coach Talmo Curto De Oliveira:

“I think we played a good game today. We had some little problems in the very beginning of the first set, but could dominate as we were adapted better afterwards. I think we’ve got no ideal opponent for the semi-final. Molico Osasco and Dinamo Kazan are both good teams, but we have to stay focused on our own play.”

Sesi-SP captain Fabiana Claudino:

“We committed some unforced errors in the game, but, in general, we can be happy with our performance today. The semi-final game will be hard work for us, but we can do it. We know Molico well and have already played and won some important games against them. Our own reception and blocking game will be important to win.”

GS Petroliers coach Salim Achouri:

“I think we played against a really well-organised Sesi-SP today, who could put a lot of pressure by good services. We wanted to keep the game tight, but our deficit increased after some time. We want to analyse this tournament now and learn a lesson from it. I’m really proud of my team, they gave their best and now we want to improve for the next season.”

GS Petroliers captain Fathima Zahri Oukazi:

“I’m a little bit sad. We tried our best today, but it wasn’t enough to win. We weren’t confident enough in the important situations. We already had this problem in the first game against Volero Zurich. Nevertheless, I think it was an important experience to play here at the 2014 FIVB Women’s Club World Championship.”
