“Volero Zurich played well and took advantage of our lack of experience," says GSP Captain Fatma Okazi

Volero Zurich assistant coach Jan Lindenmair:

Zurich, Switzerland, May 8, 2014- “It was an easier game than yesterday for us. Nevertheless, we wanted to stay focused for this game and get the ticket for the semi-final. We have to concentrate now on the important game on Saturday. As we will facing either Molico Osasco or Dinamo Kazan, there’s no ideal opponent for us. We have to play our best volleyball. Our team spirit will be a very important advantage in this semi-final.”

Volero Zurich Captain Mira Golubovic:

“I think we prepared really well for this game today and showed our potential. We could play our game and dominate. We weren’t concentrated at some moments of the second set. We have to prepare now for the big semi-final game. Both teams are very strong, but we believe in our chance and want to play the final game of the 2014 FIVB Women’s Club World Championship in front of our home crowd.”

GS Petroliers coach Salim Achouri:

“We didn’t find in the game. There were some players who really stayed under their expectations. Our game didn’t work against Volero Zurich. Nevertheless, we face Sesi-SP tomorrow and we want to show that we can play better.”

GS Petroliers captain Fatima Zahra Mazori :

“Volero Zurich played really well today and took advantage of our lack of experience. The level is really high and we have to play our best volleyball to get points against teams like Volero Zurich. We have to play more aggressive against Sesi-SP and to improve our services for this important game.”
