Grupos del Campeonato Asiático de Clubes Femeino confirmados


Las jugadoras del Guangdong Evergrande de China celebran su victoria en el Campeonato Asiático de Clubes Femenino del año pasado

Beijing , China , 24 de febrero 2014 - El Sorteo de Grupos para el Campeonato Asiático de Clubes 2014 Femenino acaba de ser completado en Beijing.

El Campeonato Asiático de Clubes Femenino se celebrará este año del 17 al 25 de abril en Nakhonpathom, Tailandia, tras la decisión de celebrar el Campeonato Mundial de Clubes Femenino de Voleibol FIVB a principios de mayo. El Consejo de Eventos Deportivos de la AVC cambió su calendario de competiciones para evitar conflictos con el evento de la FIVB.

El proceso fue supervisado por el vicepresidente ejecutivo zonal AVC y el Presidente de la SEC Sr. Shanrit Wongprasert y también contó con la presencia del Director Ejecutivo del AVC Sr. Liu Jun.
Como las ligas nacionales están aún en proceso, el sorteo se llevó a cabo bajo los nombres de los miembros de AVC.

Los 11 equipos participantes quedaron establecidos en dos grupos. Las anfitrionas de Tailandia fueron asignadas a la Zona A, junto con Japón ( ganadoras de la medalla de bronce del año pasado), Vietna , Turkmenistán e Irán.

El Grupo B incluye al campeón defensor China y Kazajstán ( medallista de plata del año pasado), Singapur, Filipinas , India y China Taipei.
