Wael Alaydy is considered one of
the most experienced players in the Egyptian squad have
been the best libero in his country since the position
was established three years ago. The 32-year-old has
been a member of the national team for the past six
years and was selected as the best libero in more than
15 competitions at international and club level.
He played at the 2002 World
Championship in Argentina and was one of the best
players in his side.
He has won five league and four
cup titles with his club side Al-Ahly.
