We have a great opportunity to turn
volleyball into one of the world's most
popular sports. However, for this to
happen we need to be innovative, have
the courage to think outside the box and
embrace change. It is especially important
for players, organisers, confederations and
federations to work closely together both
on and off the court.
In this edition of the World Volley News
you will see some of the decisions that read
of resulted from our recent meetings in
Lausanne. We now have a clearer picture
of the direction our organisation and sport
should take, and a set of common goals to
work towards.
We must now work hard to give people
all over the world the opportunity to
experience and play the sport of volleyball.
There is a lot of work to do so we must
not sit still.
